Learning Outcomes
The development of Bachelor of Chinese Medicine (Honours) Course curriculum is centered around the following nine learning outcomes:
  1. Demonstrate strong fundamental knowledge in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) and clinical techniques/therapies; 
  2. Apply knowledge of basic sciences, basic medical and clinical skills of western/modern medicine in the practice of TCM;
  3. Apply the knowledge of integrated Traditional and Western Medicine to determine the appropriate investigations and diagnosis;
  4. Decide on the appropriate therapy/treatment for the patient's clinical condition; 
  5. Play roles as health professional in the community health care system and preventive medicine; 
  6. Communicate effectively with patients, their family/ caregiver and the community at large;
  7. Adhere to ethical standards and code of practice relevant to the discipline, be aware of
  8. Undertake continuing self-development programme, and participate and contribute to research related to TCM;
  9. Engage in management and marketing of Chinese medicine and pharmacology.
